DESCRIPTION:Come out and celebrate the auspicious year ahead at the Free Chinese New Year Food and Cultural Fair\, February 21-22 at 3rd and J St. downtown.\n\nIn 2015\, we again welcome the San Diego community to share our celebration of the Year of the Ram - a time for family\, friendship\, and giving thanks.\n\nThis is a free two-day event fun-packed with various cultural performance including lion dancers\, martial arts demonstrations and acrobatics\, children's crafts\, lantern parade and a wide variety of Chinese and Asian food booths.\n\nVisit the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum to learn about San Diego Chinatown history\, see our traditional garden with koi pond\, and see what's new at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Extension\, housing the museum's rotating exhibits. Free activities will be offered to museum guests including paper lanter making\, wood block printing\, and calligraphy.
